This is the current awareness section of OJ OnlinePlus delivering up to date
and extensive EU information covering many subjects and from many sources. Documents are gathered on a daily basis
from over 20 of the major EU Institutions and Agencies and are cross-referenced
and interlinked with the core database. Started in 2000, this collection includes
press information, public register documents, agendas, minutes, reports and
publications plus records from What's new on Europa. Many records are available
in pdf format, some provide bibliographic information with details on how
to order the full text document.

Main features / search tips
- The form contains relevant search fields for searching this section of
the database.
- Uniquely, Document number search field allows you to search on ISBN number,
e.g. ISBN 92-9181-860-7 or on the catalogue number
from the Office of Official Publications of the European Union, e.g. KS-DS-05-001.
- You can restrict your search to a Subject* and/or an Authoring Institution
from the pull down list.
- You can also tick the relevant box to limit your search to a certain type
of document.
- Windows copy & paste functionality (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) can be used in
the search form.
- A search term can be any word, phrase or number which may be linked together
by Boolean operators, e.g. transport
and hazardous waste
- You can use wildcards to find variants of words or to substitute a single
letter, e.g. liab* or wom?n
- Dates must be entered in the format yyyy-mm-dd. You can use date
operators in Date / Year search field for date range searching, e.g.
>1999, 1990-04-30~1993-04-30
- To clear the search form in order to start a new search click the
button.
- When you have finished using OJ OnlinePlus remember to log off so that
your colleagues can access the database when you have completed your search.
If you do not correctly log off but exit by closing the browser your session
will remain active until the 30-minute automatic log off.
* We are dependent upon official sources for Subject classifications.
These are often abbreviated and regularly change. To ensure you retrieve results
we recommend that you use an asterisk where possible, e.g. competition*.
