SORTING RECORDS

The summary list is displayed by default in reverse chronological order. The
*toggle switch allows you to quickly sort retrieved records by Year, Type and
Title. The full sort function allows you to define more precisely the order
in which you wish to display the retrieved records.
- You can select up to five search fields to sort the records by. The sort
order can be either ascending or descending and can be defined for each
sort field selected.
- Select the first field you wish to sort on from the sort by
pull down menu.
- Click on the approrpiate ascending or descending radio buttons.
- Repeat the above steps to add other sort fields in the then by
boxes - maximum of five fields.
- To start the sort action click

- Click the reset button to clear the form.
- To return to the summary list without sorting the retrieved records click
close.
* The toggle switch does not appear if 10,000 records are
retrieved. Sorting a large number of records can take some time.
